Stop Looking,
If you are ok with crystal clear 6.5″ high and mid bass sound that is not packaged in a standard whitewash grill then look no further.
Knowing now what a difference these upgrades made to my system I would happily have paid full price but getting them for $80 with free shipping to the door from Amazon… What a deal!
I am running them honest off my deck (basic Dual CD) with no crossover so I can only imagine what running them through an amp/crossover would make.
The only thing I would recomend is being a bit cautious when pouring the stainless screws – two stripped out pretty easily. I just used two original screws from the ancient speakers so it made no hassle for me.

I place these in my boat several weeks ago to replace my marine JBL speakers and I am very impressed. I can’t believe that I thought those ancient speakers sounded excellent. The sound quality of these blows them away. The bass is fantastic, too. They are a foremost improvement to what I had. I would highly recommend these speakers.
